Introduction to Outdoor Survival - FRENCH

Description 

This activity is only offered in French. 
Take your family on an unforgettable winter adventure! Discover the secrets of outdoor survival for beginners during a guided walk specially designed for young and old alike. 

On the agenda: learn to recognize nature's edible treasures, tantalize your taste buds with a tasting of forest products and learn the first steps to making a fire and ropework. At the end of the walk, warm up with a steaming hot chocolate in nature. 

To ensure that the experience continues long after the outing, each participant will leave with an original mini guidebook, designed to be a faithful companion on future forest explorations! 

Level of difficulty: accessible for ages 6 and up, children are welcome!

Terms and Conditions

• Participants must be at least 6 years old.

Good to Know

• It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes early so that the activity may start on time.
• The activity will take place with or without snow! Trail conditions permitting, a snowshoe walk as well as a short introduction will take place. To make the most of your activity, please dress for the weather.
• Some parks are large and have several entrances. We recommend making sure you enter the right address in your GPS to get to the right location.
